Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 3-4 ripe tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing
Instructions:
- Heat the ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the pureed tomatoes, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 8-10 minutes until the tomatoes are cooked and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
- Add the boneless chicken pieces and mix well until they are coated with the tomato mixture.
- Cover the pan and let the chicken cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
- Add the garam masala powder and heavy cream. Mix well and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
